Working closely with the committee, the President guides long-term planning, supports effective decision-making, and fosters a positive, inclusive, and safe club culture. As the club’s primary representative, the President builds strong relationships with members, stakeholders, and the wider community, promoting participation, development, and the ongoing success of the organisation. The President is the Child Safety Officer of the Club.

The Vice President supports the President in providing strategic leadership and governance oversight for the club, helping to ensure it operates effectively, sustainably, and in compliance with all legal, financial, and regulatory obligations. Working closely with the President and committee, the Vice President contributes to long-term planning, supports effective decision-making, and promotes a positive, inclusive, and safe club culture. The Vice President assists with stakeholder engagement, represents the club as required, and provides leadership continuity by acting in the President’s role when the President is unavailable, supporting the ongoing success and development of the organisation.

The Treasurer is responsible for the financial management, oversight, and reporting of the club, ensuring its ongoing financial sustainability and compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. The role maintains accurate financial records, oversees budgeting, cash flow, and financial controls, and provides timely financial reporting to support informed decision-making by the committee. Working closely with club leadership, the Treasurer promotes sound financial governance, transparency, and accountability, contributing to the club’s long-term stability and success.

The Secretary is responsible for the club’s administration, governance, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the organisation meets its statutory obligations and maintains accurate records. Serving as the club’s Public Officer, the Secretary manages official correspondence, coordinates committee and Annual General Meetings, and maintains key organisational documentation. Working closely with the President and committee, the role supports effective governance, transparent decision-making, and strong administrative practices that contribute to the efficient and compliant operation of the club.
Operations Manager - Sandra Potter (operations@kebc.com.au)
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the club’s day-to-day operations, administration, facilities, and logistical activities to ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable delivery of services. Working closely with the committee, coaches, volunteers, and key stakeholders, the role coordinates resources, manages scheduling and facilities, supports program delivery, and maintains high operational standards. The Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in implementing club strategies, enhancing the member experience, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Programs Manager – Sandra Potter (programs@kebc.com.au)
The Program Manager is responsible for the strategic planning delivery and continuous improvement of the club’s basketball programs, ensuring they are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with the club’s objectives. The role oversees program design, operations, resourcing, and budget management, while leading the recruitment, development, and support of coaches and program staff. Working closely with schools, community partners, and representative pathways, the Program Manager fosters strong relationships that support participation and player development. The position also ensures programs are delivered safely and in compliance with relevant policies and standards, contributing to the club’s growth, sustainability, and long-term success.

The Communications, Social Media & Engagement Coordinator is responsible for promoting the club and strengthening its connection with members and the broader community through clear, consistent, and engaging communications. The role manages the club’s communication channels and social media presence, shares key information and club achievements, and fosters positive engagement with players, parents, coaches, volunteers, and community stakeholders to enhance participation, visibility, and club culture.
